Welcome to the internet’s #1 community for quitting LoL!

Our mission is to upgrade the real lives of gamers.

We will guide you through your transformation from a gaming addict into a self-directed, confident lion.

Video games now use psychological research to cause addiction in otherwise normal and healthy people.

It’s not a coincidence that League of Legends is by far the most popular game that has ever existed in the history of mankind.

Operant conditioning is a type of learning where behavior is controlled by consequences.

Variable ratio schedule, the same schedule that slot machines use, causes obsession.

These techniques cause the subject to react in a specific, programmed way in response to a stimuli, even if it’s unnatural.

(if you’re interested in these topics, we have psychology students in our chat group)

We know the truth about modern video games: they are designed to capture our attention and cause addiction.

It’s easy to free ourselves from gaming addiction by following these three core principles:

Principle #1: Self-determination

We believe that every individual should be able to determine their own destiny, control how they focus their attention, and prioritize what they want to achieve in life.

The first thing that people feel when they fall into the trap of gaming addiction is the loss of control over their actions.

Ask yourself: “Deep down, do I really want to be playing this game right now?”

Principle #2: Community

One of the hardest parts of quitting LoL is if all your friends play.

It’s important to have people to talk to, to share your ideas with, and to support you.

We have a Slack group where you can talk to any of us, who are in varying stages of quitting.

Principle #3: Ownership

We want to help young people realize the value of their time, feel confident about their future, and increase their self-esteem.

We want you to be able to think and work independently on what you want to change about the world.

Life is infinitely more enjoyable and meaningful when you have a strong purpose and feel responsible for your personal progress.

It feels really good to know that you made a difference in the world.

And it all starts with deciding to take ownership and accepting responsibility.

We do everything we can to help you quit LoL:

1. We have a Slack group to share ideas and make friends through chat in real-time.

2. We have articles about gaming addiction to encourage better gaming habits.

3. We have Life After the Rift page with book reviews and advice on how to invest time. (more content in progress)

4. We have influential videos of the top speakers in the world to inspire and educate people on relevant topics.

See you in the Slack group!
